Tel Aviv

Tel Aviv is the first Hebrew City and thus plays a very important role in the revival of the culture life in Israel. Having been founded in 1909 by a group of Jewish people for whom the life in Jaffa became overpopulated it grew to be the largest and most influential modern city it is with 450,000 people living in it.

The unique Bahaus building style has earned the city of Tel Aviv the title of the White City. The city, due to its amazing 4,000 Bauhaus buildings, has been titled a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2004.

Not only is Tel Aviv Israel's greatest cultural centre being the home to a number of art galleries, museums and concert halls but it is the country's largest commercial centre as well. Tel Aviv is Israel's financial capital as well.

Stretched along the gorgeous strip of the Mediterranean Sea beaches, Tel Aviv is a busy metropolis. This inspires both the natural inhabitants of Tel Aviv as well as tourists from all over the world with a unique charged atmosphere of amazing excitement and continuous fun. The seamless blend of spirited ambience, beautiful seaside resorts and various modern facades along with the rich culture is what attracts thousands of tourists to the White City every year.

Tel Aviv is famous for being “the city that never sleeps” with a vibrant and jolly nightlife. Tel Aviv nightlife is one of the most fascinating night lives one can find anywhere in the world. The White City is not only the city that never sleeps but it is often regarded as the city that never stops. There is a variety of music, bars and restaurants. Particularly during the summer time, when the days are heavy with the heat and humidity, Tel Aviv nightlife springs to life with many events happening all around the city. The Tel Aviv nightlife lasts from 8 pm to 4 am. The restaurants have special midnights menus which start after 11 pm. Tel Aviv has several entertainment areas, each has its own atmosphere, people and customs. The beauty of this city’s night life is that it is not too loud nor is it too dull. There is a perfect mixture of all kinds of people because the locations are attractive to all kinds of people. It is one of the rare places in the world which apart from being a heritage site has such a happening of contemporary, vibrant nightlife. People of Tel Aviv are actively participating in the nightlife so it is not something enjoyed only by the tourists; it creates an interesting mix of people too.

Tel Aviv travel requires special mention. The traveling facilities that are provided within the city are cheap, convenient as are the traveling expenses to the place. Traveling is easy and made simple especially at night, because the city has such an active night life. Moreover, airfares are comparatively cheap and the airlines provide good luxurious weekend packages to travel to Tel Aviv.

The heritage site with nightlife is no doubt one of the new and upcoming tourist locations of the world.

Tel Aviv has many small wonders to visit and is an amazing experience both as a retreat by itself and as a part of an extensive tour of the rest of Israel.
